Who would've thunk back in May 2011 that I would be ENGAGED 8 months later and married a year and a half later. Wow. Life really does provide you with twists and turns.
I am beyond thrilled to be having our wedding at the most beautiful location, Salem Cross Inn, in West Brookfield, MA. This place is hauntingly beautiful. So rustic and historic. The room our reception is in, "The Barn", is gorgeous with it's holiday decorations and antiques. The ceremony itself will be performed downstairs, in front of a roaring fireplace, in front of our family and friends. We are expecting roughly 100 people, but wouldn't care if it was just the two of us.
The date of Dec 30th was chosen for it's sense of celebration. Right after Christmas - Right before New Year's. The week of Christmas will be one continuous celebration! :)
Jen has her gorgeous dress. I have my black velour jacket and am still searching for the perfect grey slacks and shirt.
We have hired a photographer, DJ and have our honeymoon all worked out.

Honeymoon plans have ranged from everything from Iceland to Italy but ultimately we are going to be conservative and save BIG TRAVEL plans for a later date and do what we love most - Road Trip. Our main destinations are New Orleans and Key West with stops along the way in Nashville and Fort Lauderdale.
It is amazing to be with someone who treats me like I always knew I deserved. I say that because I treat her the same way. We respect each other immensely. We laugh all the time. We can talk about anything and I never have to worry about being....hurt.
Between the wedding, my business, writing for a published magazine, travel and, of course, family and friends....I feel so very blessed.
All I ever wanted was someone to love me the way I love them.
To make me feel like a priority.
Someone that goes out of there way to make me FEEL GOOD - not bad.
Someone to snuggle on the couch with at night and watch TV.
Someone that enjoys curling up next to me, holding my hand, resting their head on my shoulder or falling asleep on my lap.
Someone who enjoys the domestic life as much as I do.
Someone who enjoys travel and family as much as I do.
Someone who likes crazy humor as much as I do.
Someone who loves pets as much as I do.
Someone who I know I can always depend on to "have my back" and build me up - not knock me down.
Someone who loves me JUST AS I AM.
It's humbling to know that two good people really can find each other.
Extremely humbling.

Yes, before we know it we will be married. I will be your wife; you will be my wife. I couldn't ask for a more beautiful life. It can never be said enough how much you are my perfect match, my ultimate match, my forever person. We fit. Perfectly. I love everything about our life together. We are surrounded by such great family, mine and yours. We have amazing friends. Our wedding will indeed be everything magical and beautiful and beyond. The only thing that could make our wedding more perfect is if the pets could be there with us! ;) I look forward to staring into your eyes, with a shaky voice and tears in my own eyes, reading my vows to you as I commit my life to you and commit to treating you the way you deserve to be treated forever.

I find myself daydreaming about what I want to say to you while in the shower or between writing at work....finding the right words will be easy, however I may not be able to stop! ;) I am so lucky to have such a beautiful, kind, sexy, loving partner and I will be even luckier when become my wife. I love you so much. xoxoxo
